Other Techniques
- Montage: This puts several clips together to quickly show events taking place over a period of time.
- Flashbacks: A shot of something that happened at an earlier time to add context to the narrative.
- Transitions: Different ways of moving from one scene to the next e.g. overlapping footage or zooming in then out again.
- Pace: Sequencing shorter or longer shots to speed up or slow down the scene to create excitement or drama.

- Audio Effects: Adding audio tracks such as sound effects, or editing the sound so that it seems to pan across the screen.
- Visual Effects: Adding digital effects like explosions or gun flares, or more complex 3D animated characters.
- Motion Graphics: Animated text or graphics such as titles or animated logos.
