Sound Bridge
A sound bridge is a technique used in editing where sound continues across two scenes (music, dialogue or sound effects), helping them flow smoothly into each other. For example, music that starts in one scene might continue playing into the next scene, even if the location or time has changed. This helps the audience feel a connection between the two moments and can create emotional continuity.
Sound Mixing
Sound mixing is the process of blending all the audio elements together to create the final version of the sound for a media product. This includes adjusting the volume levels, adding effects, and balancing the different audio layers such as dialogue, music, ambient sound, and effects. Good sound mixing makes sure nothing is too loud or too quiet and that everything fits together naturally.
